We areall different sizes and shapes, and there are always subtle differences in our posture, and in the ways in which we move. Handmade gentleman’s garments make allowances for all of these factors and the process usually starts with around 20 critical measurements being taken.
A recent addition to my business is a range of three styles of traditional handmade long sleeved gentlemen’s shirts, all of which are made from the finest quality Italian cotton. The three designs work equally well when worn formally or informally.
One of the main stays of my business has always been the creation of ladies dresses and gowns. A particularly satisfying aspect of this has always been the process of transforming an idea from a client into a beautiful finished garment. I have also adapted my gentlemen's tailoring skills so as to create gorgeous feminine jackets, suits, and outerwear.
I have considerable experience designing and making wedding gowns and prom dresses. I can make patterns and designs from photographs, I can also design to budgets which range from the modest to the more lavish. All my garments are exquisitely made and are beautifully finished. I personally source high-quality fabrics from some of the finest and most prestigious mills in the world.
